Compliance, minors, and leave policy
Overtime, rest, breaks, consecutive days, minor-labor caps, and leave accrual. These rules power Auto-Fill and the flags on the schedule.
Settings is the rule pack Auto-Fill, publish flags, and the time clock all read. Admins. The kicker on the page is accurate: these rules power Auto-Fill and compliance flags.
Organization
Rename the workspace here. Time zone was set at onboarding; keep it aligned with how the venue actually trades.
Hours, rest, breaks
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Daily / weekly overtime after | Flags and scoring; not a payslip. |
| Max hours / day and / week | Hard Auto-Fill cap, alongside each person's own max. |
| Min rest between shifts | Eligibility + clopening interaction. |
| Break required after / required minutes | Flags on long shifts and punches. |
| Max consecutive days | Hard Auto-Fill cap. |
Fair-workweek
Enable the pack, then pick a jurisdiction preset per location or custom numbers: advance notice, clopening, change premiums, cancellation percent, short-notice flat.
Access to hours (optional): offer opens to qualified part-timers and wait offerResponseHours before filling another way.
Estimates, not legal advice.
Minors
When minor labor is on:
- Minimum working age (below this, working at all is flagged)
- Age under which hour and night caps apply
- Max hours school day / non-school day / school week / non-school week
- Earliest start / latest end
- School-break date ranges (school is out — the non-school caps apply)
Date of birth on the employee is what makes these fire. Without a DOB, Sofia cannot know they are a minor.
Leave policy
Accrual for PTO, sick, and carer's leave. Caps. This is the policy the leave ledger accrues against.
Labor vs sales
Target labor % and projected sales per weekday, per location. See Labor vs sales.
Sofia voice
A card at the top of Settings jumps to voice settings — store number, greeting, who she offers, kill switch.
Billing
Same page, different card. See Locations and billing.
