Workspace
Turn features on and off
Workspace admins switch modules on Admin. Off hides the surface and refuses the write. The roster, team, and billing stay on.
Admins turn product modules on and off from Admin. Off hides the surface and refuses the write. The roster, team, dashboard, and billing stay on — those are the workspace, not a module.
Numeric rules (overtime, rest, leave hours, $200/store) stay on Settings. Admin is the switchboard.
Who can open it
Admin and owner. Managers run the week; they do not flip modules.
What a switch does
| Module | Default | When off |
|---|---|---|
| Auto-Fill | On | No Auto-Fill button. Manual assign still works. |
| Cover waitlist | On | Cannot list new gaps. Unlist still works. Nobody is sent either way. |
| Demand forecast | On | Expected hours hide on the week. |
| Open-shift claims | On | Staff cannot request opens. |
| Swaps | On | Staff cannot offer or request a swap. |
| Time off requests | On | Staff cannot file new dates. Approving an existing request still works. |
| Time clock | On | Kiosk and timesheets hide. Existing punches can still be corrected. |
| Ask Sofia | On | The assistant is gone. |
| Call Sofia | On | The line says the store is not taking those calls and hangs up. Per-store kill switch still exists. |
| Tanda | On | Cannot connect. Disconnect still works. |
Fair-workweek, access to hours, minor labor, labor vs sales, and leave accrual are the same booleans as Settings. Admin writes those fields; it does not keep a second copy.
Turning something off
The toggle is immediate. Call Sofia and the time clock ask for confirm — those are the two that change what staff do at 6am.
Existing data is not deleted. A listed Cover gap stays listed until you unlist it. A pending time-off request stays until a manager decides.
What you cannot turn off
Schedule, Team, My shifts (the week view), Dashboard, Settings, Admin, roles, billing.
