List a gap on Cover

List an open gap after Auto-Fill and staff claims have tried your own people. Cover is a waitlist. Nobody is sent. There is no extra-hands pool.

ManagersAdmins Open in the app

Cover is a waitlist of open gaps. Listing a gap records that you needed extra hands. Nobody is sent. There is no live pool, no dispatch, no contractor marketplace.

Say it again: nobody is sent.

When to list

Venue first:

  1. Auto-Fill from your own people.
  2. Leave remaining opens claimable on My shifts.
  3. If you are still short, list.

Listing is not a substitute for step 1.

List one gap

On Schedule, open the shift.

  • List on Cover — this open shift.
  • Unlist Cover — take it off the waitlist.

A listed shift shows a Cover chip: listed, nobody sent yet.

List remaining opens

The Cover panel on the week can List remaining on Cover. That is every still-unlisted open on the week. Confirm: nobody will be sent tonight.

You can also list Auto-Fill leftovers as a set when the run finishes with holes.

What listing actually does

  • The gap appears on the Cover waitlist.
  • Dashboard and Ask Sofia can see it.
  • Auto-Fill and staff claims still try your own people. Listing does not freeze the hole.

Unlisting removes it from the waitlist. It does not assign anyone, because no one was sent.

What Cover is not

It is not extra hands you do not employ. It is not a marketplace. When a pool ships it will sit next to your roster, after Auto-Fill and staff claims. Until then, a listed Saturday is a recorded shortage, not a filled one.

The public Cover page is a waitlist signup, not a dispatch desk.
